Creation of a lower limb prosthesis to replace that of a female Lapwing Soldier from the Parc Zoo du Reynou.

The bird had to be amputated for medical reasons. The soldier lapwings are birds that live on the ground and scratch it with their feet to feed themselves. Possessing all their members is therefore a necessity for living.

The black part of the prosthesis was 3D printed, then adjusted using orthopedic foams and Velcro.
The amputation and monitoring of the animal were carried out by the Feytiat Veterinary Cabinet and the Parc Zoo du Reynou
